Japan exports drop 45% to new low  →
“Japan’s exports plunged more than 45% in January compared to a year ago to hit the lowest figure ever recorded, official figures showed.” Is this a good indication that Japan’s economy isn’t doing that great anymore? Answer should most definately be yes.

New Look for this website
I love the new look to this website now. Looks clean, fresh, and much nicer. Thanks to Josh for integrating so many scripts into one theme; it really makes integrating Twitter, Flickr, and other things much easier.

Nigirian Spammer Swindles the Bank. Wait, What? →
“But one man found success by tweaking the formula, prosecutors say: Rather than trying to dupe an account holder into giving up information, he duped the bank. And instead of swindling a person, he tried to rob a country — of $27 million.” Whoa, so that’s why this scam is still persistant. These spammers don’t know when to stop. Citibank should be ashamed of themselves.

“A day after UBS agreed to pay $780 million and identify certain American clients to resolve claims that its offshore accounts were used to evade taxes, the Justice Department moved to force the bank to disclose the identities of 52,000 Americans — far more than were previously known to be bank clients.”

Launched New Blog: Daily Podcast Reviews →
“Hold Your horses. I don’t have a horse.” First of all, this tumblelog is not down. There is no way I’m taking down jermspeaks, I’m on a roll. This new site is an actual blog that reviews podcasts because you can never have enough people promoting great audio shows. Here’s my take on podcasts, updated daily, which I’ll assume is every weekday, for now.

The 25 Most Commonly Misspelled Words →
“The 25 Most Commonly Misspelled Words is a list that has circulated among American businesses for decades. Two words have variant spellings for companies using British English spelling. Those two words have been repeated in the list of 25 words (making 27 items) asking for the British spelling.” I got a 70%, which should be higher since I accidentally missed a question. Oh well. See...

Piracy winning? →
“The campaign failed miserably. By the end of the year, illegal copies of the Batman movie had been downloaded more than seven million times around the world, according to the media measurement firm BigChampagne, turning it into a visible symbol of Hollywood’s helplessness against the growing problem of online video piracy.” So a popular movie like “The Dark Knight” is...

27 Questionable facts about myself
